Qualifications :
The desired attributes for the position are; Graduate in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Economics or Finance; or other similar degree from a recognized University. A post graduate degree in Management (Project or Contract) will be an added advantage. At least 6 years of experience in Procurement in an international, national, public, or private organization, preferably in a developing country setting, Demonstrated skills in computer application and use of software programs for procurement database and monitoring, experience in procurement of Donor funded projects, fully computer literate, very good written and spoken English.
Job Description summary:
The Procurement Consultant will undertake the needed procurement activities for implementation of projects under TAN ROADS. The specialist will also train TAN ROADS's Counterparts in procurement methods in line with the World Bank's Procurement Guidelines and the international procurement practices.
