Credit Officer (10 positions)

Position Description:

Operating since July 2011, EFC TANZANIA M.F.C LIMITED provides financial services to micro, small and medium size enterprises (MSMEs) and is the first deposit taking microfinance institution to be licenced and regulated under the Bank of Tanzania’s Microfinance Company Charter.



The purpose of the Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC) is to provide increased access to specialized financial services for entrepreneurs while contributing to wealth creation, improvement of living conditions and development of the Tanzanian private sector. Owned by international and local investors, EFC Tanzania is distinctive in its emphasis on local development through a collective ownership scheme.



POSITIONS:


EFC Tanzania through its expansion program and in an effort to serve its clientele better, is looking to fill the following positions in Dar es Salaam:

CREDIT OFFICERS (10 Positions)

Qualifications & Profile:

Applicants should have financial services experience with the following general profile:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking, Commerce, Finance, or Marketing;
A minimum of one year of Housing/MSE lending experience in the financial services sector;
Strong people/relationship skills with a customer service and teamwork orientation;
Action and results oriented with good time management and analytical skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

Senior Agri-Economicst

Position Description:

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES.


• At least degree in agricultural economics

• At least 5 years experience in Farm activities. Field experience in agricultural development is desirable.

• Project & team management capacities and experience, notably along multi-cultural and multidisciplinary teams, in order to coordinate and supervise the smooth achievement of the different tasks, but in a collective collaborative effort.


• Analytical and Writing skills (synthesis and analytical report)


• Good knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) .Fluent in English

Position Description:

Description:


To provide HR technical advice & support in the recruitment and selection;

Prepare, update and participate in making and renewal of company contracts
To participate in the effective implementation of succession planning activities such as assessment of potential staff etc;
To offer immediate HR support and advice to staff whenever it is required;
To participate in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures;
To effectively coordinate performance management activities within the company for achievement of set performance objectives, regular performance appraisals and Personal Development Plans for all staff;
To contribute to the analysis and implementation of training and development needs in line with the overall manpower development strategy;
To undertake job analysis and ensure availability of continuously updated IDs for all approved positions in the company.
